Children’s story could win £2,000
COULD you write a winning story for children?
The Academy of Children’s Writers have launched its 27th annual Write a Story for Children competition.
The first prize in 2012 will be a cheque for £2,000 with a second prize of £300 and third prize of £200.
Entries must be either short stories of up to 2,000 words or the opening 2,000 words of a longer story or novel.
The closing date for entries is March 31 with winners notified by the end of May.
