Not only is Dr. Cummins a well-respected literature professor at San Diego State University but she is also the author of this new Re-Publication’s introduction, which makes it even more worthy of checking out.

All of a Kind Family is a classic children's book series that works to establish the Jewish immigrant family and describes what makes up their experience as it’s carried into the early-twentieth-century. Set in New York City, the story follows an Eastern European Jewish immigrant family living on the Lower East Side.
