Lizzie Skurnick is republishing All of a Kind Family, which is recognized widely as a children’s classic series. To highlight this republication and significance in children’s literature, a panel will discuss their own
experiences with these books and the impact it made on their own lives. We are very
pleased and honored to announce that our very own June Cummins with be apart of
this panel. Not only is Dr. Cummins a well-respected literature professor at San Diego State University but she is also the author of this new Re-Publication’s introduction, which makes it even more worthy of checking out.
The panel event will take place at the Tenement Museum, in New York on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 6:30PM (Doors open at 6:00PM) and
admission is free.
This
panel will also include writers Anna Holmes,
Rebecca Traister, historian Hasia Diner, and Lizzie Skurnick.
Congratulations to Dr. June Cummins! We are looking forward to seeing you stir up some great topics on this panel.
